For most students at Leeward Community College, the library is the first place they go when they are in need of answers. Come by and let us show you what we have to offer!

'Resistance Is Its Own Reward': Library Workers Hold the Line for their Communities by the President of the American Library Association, Lessa Kanani'opua Pelayo-Lozada, explains ways librarians are supporting the freedom to read and promoting equity in libraries. In the article, Pelayo-Lozada mentions our very own librarian Annemarie Paikai, who is working with Shavonn Matsuda to create controlled vocabularies and authority records that represent indigenous worldviews.
