Vision, Mission, and Goals

The Learning Commons faculty and staff present our vision, mission, and goals as the embodiment of our renewed commitment to support Leeward Community College in achieving its mission and objectives.

Vision

The Leeward Community College Learning Commons provides an inclusive, learner-centered environment fostering discovery, innovation, student achievement, and well-being. We recognize our physical location to be on Native Hawaiian ancestral land at Puʻuloa and Waiʻanae. Therefore, we acknowledge our responsibility to uplift and center the cultural traditions and scholarly contributions of Kanaka Maoli, past and present, to enrich the education and vitality of current and future generations of students.

Mission

II. Quality Resources

III. Collaborative Culture
