Kapunawai - The Hawaiʻi - Pacific Resource Room

Welina mai me ke aloha!  Kapunawai translates to mean spring, well, fountain, and these ideas guide the purpose and function for the Hawaiʻi-Pacific Resource Room. Kapunawai is a spring of inspiration, a well of resources, and a fountain of knowledge.

Here in Kapunawai, not only will you find a portion of our Hawaiian and Pacific collection, you can come here to use laptops and a flatbed scanner (thanks to funding from at Title III grant!), a tv monitor, and a charging station.  You will also find exciting exhibits that relate to Hawaiʻi and/or the Pacific.  Come by to get reference assistance from the Hawaiʻi-Pacific Resource librarian or to find a comfy spot to study!
