The Library was fortunate to receive extra funding that will enable us to increase the diversity, depth, and quality of resources available to our students on the Pearl City campus, at the Leeward Waianae Education Center, as well as those enrolled in distance education courses.
The online resources available through the Library's website do not duplicate anything freely available via the Open Web. What the Library provides are truly unique subscription resources designed to meet the academic, research, and reference needs of students and faculty. As of today, the Library provides online access to 60 research databases and e-book collections. The resources listed in the left column are subscriptions started within the past month. We're planning to acquire several more resources later this spring.
Please stop by my table to learn about our new "Netflix for Academia," Kanopy video collection and JSTOR Arts & Sciences Collections I, II, & III. I welcome your suggestions for additional resources for the campus.
